2010 AGM and 2011 Committee

The Manly Leagues Bridge Club held its 2010 Christmas Party, Prize Giving and AGM on Sunday 5 December. Almost 80 members enjoyed a great Christmas meal organised by Jan McLennan, and provided by the Leagues Club Bistro.

The AGM completed the club's official business. You can read the President's Report, the 2009 AGM Minutes, and the 2010 Income Statement and Balance Sheet.

The AGM thanked the 2010 Committee and saw the following 2011 Committee take over:

• President - George Brown
• Vice President - Jan McLennan
• Secretary - Jan Chivers
• Treasurer - Pam Ross (assisted by Christine Smith)
• Masterpoints Secretary - Patrick Flynn
• New Member & Social Coordinator - Pegg Carlson
• Committee - Chris Duggin, Annette Kearns, Brian Ody, Max Paterson, Martin Stone

The AGM was also accompanied by the Annual Prize Giving for the Club's major competitions - former club general manager and current board member Brian Smith provided some insight into the changes at the Club and congratulated the prize winners. The 2010 Prize Board holds a full list of the winners. Next year's AGM will be held on Sunday 4 December 2011.
